Depression - Psychoeducation (imparting knowledge about the symptoms)
Depression is one of the most common mental disorders in Germany. They arise from the interaction of several factors. Genetic predisposition, neurobiological disorders, certain developmental and personality factors, early childhood traumas, long-term stress, injuries, experiences of loss or physical illnesses form the basis of most explanatory models. As an acute trigger of a depressive episode, personally stressful events or situations of excessive demands can be considered.
